Mill Creek Entertainment have been releasing a lot of these faith-based films on DVD and Blu-ray so that physical media fans can add them to their home video libraries and have them forever. We have seen releases such as, Lifemark, Unlikely Angel, Running the Bases and The Girl who believes in Miracles.
Now it is time for another faith-based film to get a home video release from Mill Creek Entertainment. This time it is a film starring War Room star Karen Abercrombie we are talking about 2023's Heaven Sent.
Elise (Karen Abercrombie, Vampire Diaries, Saved by the Bell, Judging Amy), a grandmother hurt by her past, and Patrick (Leon Pridgen, The Program, Renaissance Man), a widowed pastor, have closed the door on love. But with faith and a little help from technology, will their live-streamed romance find a way?
PureFlix have produced a smart and sweet romantic comedy that proves you are never too old to find love. Film fans that love romcoms are going to find this one a nice little film. While there is faith at the core it is not overtly preachy.
Mill Creek Entertainment has transferred this film to DVD. The film is presented in widescreen format in 1.85:1 aspect ratio. The soundtrack is a Dolby audio 5.1. Finally there is the option for English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing.
Of course the film is going to look spectacular because this is a 2023 film. So basically everything is shot in HD now and the film is transferred to DVD. The film transfer is extremely nice. The only downside for this DVD release is there is no bonus feature at all! I wish there would have been more but that is the only thing I have against this release.
