I grew up on these cartoons. And even in a world that have deemed these cartoons offensive and only for mature audiences, I still find them less offensive than most media we see in this generation. But then again maybe that is just me.
Thankfully Warner Archive Collection loves these classic cartoons as much as we the physical media fans do. They have been releasing tons of Looney Tunes Blu-rays for quite a while and now it's time do dive deep into the vault for a new batch of cartoons for a new collection. This is Looney Tunes Collector's Vaut Volume 1 on Blu-ray!
Synopsis: Here they are – MORE Looney Tunes, MORE Merrie Melodies, MORE laughs, now restored and on Blu-ray disc!. When going through these classic cartoons in comparison to the other Blu-ray collection, I have to admit there is one that is on another Blu-ray set. If you bought the Looney Tunes Collector's Choice 4 or the Looney Tunes Collector's Choice 1-4 Blu-rays you will find Double or Mutton on that 4th disc. But still even 49 cartoons on one Blu-ray set are simply amazing!
These classic cartoons have been transferred to Blu-ray in 1080p in the original full screen format in 1.37:1 aspect ratio. There are two audio options an English DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0. There are also English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing.
You can tell Warner Archive Collection really loves these cartoons as much as we do. So, they put so much love in to restoring these cartoons to the best quality possible. The colors are bright, and the audio is clear. The picture is crisp and clean. There is no digital artifacts or audio anomalies. These restorations are so good it looks as though these cartoons could have been produced yesterday.
When watching this collection of cartoons, it made me feel like a kid again and that is something you can't put a price on. The feeling of joy that comes as a kid watches these characters in crazy situations. All these years later that joy is still there... priceless!
If you love classic Looney Tunes as much as I do, this new Blu-ray set of Looney Tunes Collector's Vault Volume 1 is a must add to your collection. Head over to Amazon or Physical Media Land and order your copy today!
