Top 7 Ernest Borgnine Films

Ermes Effron Borgnino better known by his Hollywood Name Ernest Borgnine was born on January 24th, 1917. His career spanned over 6 decades and included movies, TV and comedy appearances on the great Dean Martin Variety Show.

Television fans may remember him in the TV series Airwolf that starred Jan-Michael Vincent, or in the lesser known Future Cop. But probably most remember him as Lieutenant Commander Quinton McHale in McHale's Navy!

On July 8th, 2012 Ernest Borgnine died of kidney failure, at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He was 95 years of age. But he left behind a huge catalogue of films and TV shows that generations will watch and enjoy.
