The good folks at Mill Creek Entertainment haven been releasing many of the Imagicomm Entertainment / INSP films as part of their "Christmas Collection" now it is time for another Trish Stratus lead holiday film Christmas in Rockwell to receive a physical media release!
Alyssa Strader (Trish Stratus), a former child actor who returns home to Rockwell after a blockbuster flop. Spending the holidays incognito, Alyssa takes a trip down memory lane with the help of Jake (Stephen Huszar, Ruby Herring Mysteries), the handsome cinema owner. With Christmas just around the corner, Alyssa must decide if her heart lies in Hollywood or in her hometown.
Watching this Christmas film is a lot of fun, as we watch a "big town girl” find herself by rediscovering her past. There is no offensive material in this film whatsoever. It is a great little film for the holiday season.
A wrestler has to be the best at both world. They must be great athletes and good actors. Well, Trish's time in the world of wrestling prepared her for the world of acting. She did very good in the Christmas in the Rockies film and in this film Christmas in Rockwell, in my humble opinion she did even better.
Mill Creek Entertainment has transferred the film to DVD. The film is presented in 1.78:1 aspect ratio and the audio is a 5.1 surround sound. There is also English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing.
The film looks and sounds great on this DVD. Now as for bonus features there is a over 2 minute first look promo video, a photo gallery and trailers for other Imagicomm films, Love in Wolf Creek, Christmas in Wolf Creek, Country Roads Christmas and Christmas in the Pines.
Christmas in Rockwell is a heartwarming tale prefect for the Christmas season. And to see Trish Stratus as the lead in this film, wrestling fans will love having this in their collection, without a doubt.
