Now the physical media giant Mill Creek Entertainment who released Love in Wolf Creek on DVD are also releasing this holiday film on DVD as well as part of their Christmas Collection line.
Just days before Christmas Sam and Austin are struggling to maintain their relationship, but to make matters worse a runaway reindeer threatens the annual Christmas play, the couple must work together to save Christmas for the town and each other.
Christmas in Wolf Creek is a heartwarming tale of love, friendship, and the true meaning of Christmas. Very rarely is a sequel better than the original film. Now I'm not saying by leaps and bounds, but for me Christmas in Wolf Creek is just a hair better than Love in Wolf Creek.
Most of the cast from the original film return for this sequel. Nola Martin (Ginny & Georgia, A Christmas Exchange) as Sam, Tim Rozon (Schitt's Creek, Wynonna Earp) as Austin take the lead roles again. Than there is Mary Long (Good Witch, Love at Look Lodge), and Madeline Leon (A Christmas Village, A Christmas Recipe for Romance).
Mill Creek Entertainment has transferred the film to DVD. The film is presented in 1.78:1 aspect ratio and the audio is a 5.1 surround sound. There is also English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing.
The film looks and sounds great on this DVD. Now as for bonus features there is a photo gallery and trailers for other Imagicomm films, Love in Wolf Creek, Country Roads Christmas and Christmas in the Pines.
Christmas movies can be sentimentally sappy at times. But I really enjoyed Christmas in Wolf Creek. The film is entertaining, yet has a message. The message of putting one's self aside and work together for the greater good. That is something we could all take a lesson from.
