Rapture and The Antichrist {Kingstone Comics Review}

Reviewed By Jason Lockard

Kingstone Comics is truly the leader in Christian Comics. I have been thoroughly enthralled with their releases over the years. They have been releasing a wide range of comics over the years. From the epic story of Job, to the parable of the Richman and Lazarus written by award winning writer Randy Alcorn. To the recent releases of the Hero Devotionals and the 101 Questions about the Bible and Christianity.

This time on Classic Cinema Plus we are looking a two new comics that play out the accounts written in the book of Revelation in the bible. We are talking about "Rapture" and "The Antichrist".

The 'rapture' is an event where the believers in God are taken to Heaven. There is not a lot in the bible about this event but writer Art Ayris does an exceptional job of playing out the event and showing the effects of it as well as the blessings for those that experience it! Sergio Cariello brings his amazing pen to this book with stellar artwork. But this book is a team effort, with colors by Alex
Guimarães, letters and production design by Lisa McMahon and edited by Kelly Ayris.

Every part of this book is great. From the absolutely gorgeous cover to the eye popping colors and story. It is a really inspiring account giving you desire to be apart of those who get to experience this event.

Now with good there is always evil. Probably we have all heard of the evil that is to rise up! A perfect companion to the first book Rapture is 'The Antichrist'.

In this book we see the history of evil and how as bad as we think evil men in the past were, we haven't seen anything yet. This book takes us on the journey from the rise of the Antichrist, to the mark of the beast, to the final battle.

Were the 'Rapture' book has a beautiful and inspiring cover. This book's cover is more chilling.  Now in the Rapture book Art Aryis had to kind of flesh out the story. In The Antichrist he had to try to condense the account, and again does a remarkable job. As with Rapture this also is a group effort. The artwork is my Mario Ruiz, colors by BJP, letters and production design by Lisa McMahon and edited by Kelly Aryis.

Rapture and The Antichrist run a mere 32 and 36 pages long respectively. The stories are played out with awesome artwork and they are a very easy read. The whole team deserves a lot of credit for making two amazing books about Revelation.

For many readers the book of Revelation is hard to understand. Kingstone Comics two amazing comics really play out these accounts and make it easy for the reader to understand about future events. Huge Kudos to the team at Kingstone Comics.

I think these are right up there with some of the best that Kinstone Comics have done so far. From the stories, to the artwork and the lettering. All around these are great books.

If you would like to read these comics they are available in print and in digital. You can get them in many different ways.
