Cops The Complete Series (1988-89) {DVD Review}

Reviewed By Jason S. Lockard

In the 80s Hasbro was bringing many of their toy lines to tv. One such show was C.O.P.S. (Central Organization of Police Specialists) based on the toy line C.O.P.S. 'N' Crooks. Now the great folks at Mill Creek Entertainment brings us the entire tv series on DVD.

The series takes place in the future. The year is 2020. The place is Empire City. Brandon "Big Boss" Babel, along with his gang of crooks, is holding the entire city under his iron fist. Empire city's only hope is a special group of crime fighters led by Baldwin P. Vess Codename: Bulletproof. They exist for one reason, that reason is to make the city safe.

The action and voice acting in this cartoon series still is good today, even though it's almost 30 years old. It doesn't seem dated at all! The characters are over the top good and would be fun for any kid.

On this five disc dvd release you get all 65 syndicated episodes that is 13 episodes on each disc and the audio and video quality in these discs is surprisingly good when you think your fitting 13 episode on a disc.

So if you were a kid of the 80's or just love a good ole' 80's cartoons this is an absolute must own. I highly recommend you head over to Amazon and pick up your copy today!
