Landman Season Two (Blu-ray Review)

The Yellowstone franchise has been one of the most popular for Paramount. Yellowstone has many spin-off series to be companion series to Yellowstone. We have seen 1923, starring Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren and Marshals.

But it was time to expand the Yellowstone universe a bit more, so Landman was produced. This series stars Billy Bob Thornton, Demi Moore, Andy Garcia, Ali Lartner and Sam Elliott. Now Season 2 of this series has come to home video on Blu-ray. 

Synopsis: In Season Two, as oil rises from the Earth, so do secrets - and Tommy Norris's (Billy Bob Thornton) breaking point may be closer than he realizes. Facing mourning pressure from M-Tex Oil, Cami Miller (Demi Moore), and the shadow of his kin, survival in West Texas isn't noble - it's brutal. And sooner or later something's got to break.

Taylor Sheridan continues to impress with the Yellowstone franchise, and Landman is no different. The stories are so well crafted, the acting is great and the production leaves nothing to be desired. It is so cool seeing stars like Demi Moore, Billy Bob Thornton, and Sam Elliott all together in one place.

All ten season one episodes have been transferred to 3 Blu-ray discs. These episodes are presented in 1080p in widescreen format. The audio tracks are English 5.1 Dolby TrueHD and French 5.1 Dolby Digital. Subtitles are also available in English and French.
