Scream 7 4K Ultra HD Review – Ghostface Returns in Stunning 4K

Horror movie franchises seem to never die. There is always an audience that wants to be scared. In 1996 screenwriter Kevin Williamson and horror director icon Wes Craven created the Scream franchise. In 2026 after a brief hiatus Kevin Williamson returned to the franchise to co-write and direct Scream 7.

Paramount Pictures Home Entertainment have now given physical media fans a reason to rejoice as Scream 7 is coming to 4k UltraHD. Now your Scream Movie Collection can be complete.

Synopsis
: Ghostface returns with a vengeance – and this time it's personal. Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) has built a new life in a quiet town with her family, but her worst fears become reality when her daughter (Isabel May) becomes his next target.

Scream 7 takes the franchise into a new generation, with the "evil" of A.I. in the forefront. Neve Campbell returns and thankfully so. She bring nostalgia and a reason to invest into this film. While Scream 7 is not on the level of the first Scream, it is an enjoyable little horror filck.

Scream 7 has been transferred to 4k UltraHD in 2160p and is presented in widescreen format. There are several audio track options. There is an English Dolby Atmos, and a French and Spanish Dolby 5.1 tracks. There is also the option for English, French and Spanish subtitles. There is also a English Descriptive track.

Scream 7 looks as sharp as a razor in UltraHD. The colors are bright and vibrant an the audio is clear. If you haven't upgraded to 4K yet, no worries this 4K release also comes with a Blu-ray disc. And the film looks good in HD as well! In addition to a wonderful-looking Blu-ray transfer of this film. Paramount included some bonus features. Take a look at what is included.
