Legend Miles Davis in his final film role Dingo gets a new home video release

Miles Davis was a trumpeter, bandleaders and composer. He influenced many musicians with his jazz music. In 1991 the film Dingo would be Miles final appearance on film. He would along with Michel Legrand provided the soundtrack to this film.

Now 31 years after it's original release the good folks at Darkstar Pictures are releasing this musical masterpiece on remastered DVD and digital.   

The follows Johnny Anderson (Colin Friels, Darkman), also known as Dingo. He has lived in the outback of Western Australia all his life. As a kid he met the great Billy Cross (Miles Davis) when his plane landed there. His life was forever changed when he saw Cross play. Now he dreams of making records just like his idol and even making it to Paris to see him again. But sadly he is the only one that believes in his dream not even his wife Jane (Helen Buday, Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome) believes this could ever happen! Will he ever make his dreams come true? You'll have to see the film to find out!

Dingo is a tale about of chasing your dreams no matter who says it is a waste of time and energy! Colin Friels is tremendous as Johnny "Dingo" Anderson and the music of Miles Davis is the star of this film. The soundtrack is truly a thing of beauty!

The film has been transferred in 480 standard definition and presented in widescreen format 2.39:1 aspect ratio. There is 2 audio options 5.1 Surround sound and 2.0 Stereo. There is also the option for English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing.

The film looks and sounds tremendous on DVD. There is no signs of damage to this print. The colors are vibrant and the audio is clear. If you want to watch Dingo this ne remaster from Dark Star Pictures is the perfect way to experience it!

Now this film is an entertaining and inspiring. The only downside of this film is that there is a good chunk of adult language and brief nudity! So Parental guidance is suggested!
