It’s the most wonderful time of the year. A time for hot chocolate with marshmallows. Snow outside and a warm fire inside, and curling up on the couch with a holiday movie. So what better way to celebrate with your family than enjoying this new release from Mill Creek Entertainment featuring 10 live action and animated films.

A Thieves Christmas (1994)
– A band of thieves look to mend their ways as they begin to understand the true meaning of Christmas. ***


The Gift (1994) – A young shepherd boy must conquer his fears in order to witness the miracle happening in Bethlehem. ***


Johann’s Gift to Christmas (1991) – A mouse’s organ playing inspires the creation of “Silent Night.” ***


The Little Crooked Christmas Tree (1990) – At a tree farm, the littlest tree, different from the rest, meets a white dove who lands in his branches and learns the meaning of love, sacrifice – and Christmas. ***


Benji’s Very Own Christmas Story (1978) – Benji encounters Kris Kringle played by Ron Moody. This film was nominated for an Emmy. **


The Nutcracker (1994) – The animated version of the enchanting story of the Nutcracker prince and his magical kingdom. **


Magic Gift of the Snowman (1995) – A snowman takes two children on a magical musical adventure. ***


The 12 Days of Christmas (1993) – This film is all about how the song “Twelve Days of Christmas” was written by a bumbling squire trying to impress a Princess. ***


Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (1944) – This animated classic directed by legendary animator Max Fleisher tells the origin story of the most famous reindeer of all. ***


The Night Before Christmas (1946) – This Castle Films production features a combination of live action and animation to tell the classic Christmas story. ***


This DVD presents these ten films in full frame and really good audio and video quality. The DVD menu is easy to access. There is the bonus feature; but with all these films included on this DVD you don’t need bonus features.
