In the 1980s, rock was king, and rock bands would gain legendary status. Bands like Guns N' Roses, Metallica, Queen, Def Leppard, and AC/DC were among the many that marked their territory as the best in music in the 1980s.
Well, in 1983 American rock band Cinderella was formed in the suburbs of Philadelphia. In the mid-80s, after a series of multi-platinum studio albums and hit single, Cinderella rose in popularity. And for over 30 years the brought the joy of music to the masses.

Cinderella really stands out among the multitude of hair bands mainly because of Tom Keifer's unique voice and blues-infused guitar work. The band seen in this concert is Tom Keifer on vocals and guitar, Eric Brittingham on bass, Jeff LaBar on guitar, and Fred Coury on drums. This concert was recorded at the pinnacle of Cinderella’s success. Cinderella puts on quite a spectacular show. Well, we can't see them live now. But this is the next best option.
Cleopatra Entertainment has remastered the SD footage from this concert event. The concert is presented in 1080p and is in full frame format in 1.33:1 aspect ratio. There are two audio options on this Blu-ray. There is the DTS-HD MA 2.0 or 5.1 Dolby Digital. To my ears, the Dolby Digital track is superior.
I have to say the remastered picture is surprisingly amazing. The picture is crisp and clean, and the colors are bright. The only disappointing part of the Blu-ray is that the only bonus feature is a slideshow of rare photos running just under 4 minutes. I wished there were a retrospective about the band or interviews. That would have made this pretty great Blu-ray just that much better.
So if you love the hair bands of the 80s, you no doubt have enjoyed the music of Cinderella. So why not pick up this Blu-ray of the Cinderella concert event? You can add this Blu-ray to your home video library by heading over to MVD Shop or Amazon today!
