The X Trilogy Blu-ray Review – Ti West’s Horror Saga in Stunning HD

Horror films were forever changed with Friday the 13th. That film was the first independent slasher film to be acquired by a major studio. With it's release in 1980 it revolutionized the slasher genre. And paved the way for filmmakers to make slasher films in the future.

Ti West was one such filmmaker. He directed the horror films The Roost (2005), Trigger Man (2007), The House of the Devil (2009), The Innkeepers (2011), the Western In a Valley of Violence (2016). But during the Covid-19 pandemic he shot two films simultaneously that would eventually become a trilogy. Now The X Trilogy has been released on Blu-ray.
