The Looney Tunes collection brings together literally the best of the best cartoons of the 40s and 50s. Who didn't love “Duck Amuck,” the pairing of Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd for “What’s Opera, Doc?” or the hilariously wacky “Rabbit of Seville,” and simply one of the best cartoons in “One Froggy Evening.”
These classic cartoons have been spread across 3 Blu-ray discs, transferred in 1080p and presented in 1.33:1 aspect ratio. There are three audio track is an English, Spanish and Dutch all in Dolby Digital 1.0. And for subtitles there is the option of English, French and Dutch.
Now these are cartoon do show some very minor scratches and dirt, but the restorations still bring a beauty to these cartoons you cannot find on the DVDs. As for the audio, it would have been nice to hear a higher quality audio track, but the Dolby Digital still does the trick.
Now 50 classic Looney Tunes cartoons restored in HD on Blu-ray would probably be enough for most people to want to add this release to their collections. But Warner Brothers added some amazing bonus features to this Blu-ray set. Take a look at what is included.
