Can't Be Stopped (2022) {MVD Blu-ray Review}

Graffiti art ranges from very low end tagging to some very impressive art. As all artists do they are expressing themselves through what they love. Now while they will never be put in the same sentence with Van Gogh, the artist should not be pushed aside as hoodlums.

Hollywood's own "Can't Be Stopped" crew or C.B.S are one of the most influential and recognizable graffiti crews to emerge out of the U.S. Now director Cody Smith's documentary about these amazing artists has come to home video thank to the good folks at MVD Visual.

Graffiti artists were brought together by a sort of father figure named "Skate". Created was a sort of brotherhood. Under Skate's tutelage boys from all ages and broken find their ultimate success and prosperity. Unbeknownst to these young artists, they were shaping the medium and ultimately became pioneers.

This film was a true labor of love directed by Cody Smith over a decade. Can't be Stopped is a simply fascinating documentary. Featuring some of the most amazing looking artwork around. Honestly the interview footage ranges from great for the newer interviews to a little rough for the older interviews. But that is to be expected with older footage. The film is
narrated by Everlast and is really well done. It is gritty and raw. So there is a lot of adult language in it, so just be aware. There is a lot of heart to this film as these ones who lived the life recall the losses they felt while in the group.

Can't be stopped arrives on Blu-ray thanks to the good folks at MVD Visual. This amazing documentary is presented in 1080p in widescreen format. Now for the audio there are options for DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio and LPCM 2.0 track. Finally there is the option for English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing.

I enjoyed this documentary so very much, I didn't even mind the different levels of video footage. The only downside that I could really find in this Blu-ray release would be there are no bonus features. But the documentary was so good, that is a minor complaint.

Can’t Be Stopped is the kind of documentary take the average viewer on a journey into a culture that most of us would never get to experience any other way. To me that makes this documentary
 a tremendous piece of cinema.

If you are a documentary fan, I think you should should check this on out. I highly recommended it. Head over to
Amazon and order your copy f this Blu-ray today.
