INSP Films always bring movie fans so much good family friendly entertainment for the Holiday season. Mill Creek Entertainment have been releasing some of these new holiday films on DVD including; Christmas in the Rockies, Christmas in the Smokies, and Christmas on the Coast.
The next one to receive the DVD treatment is 2021's Christmas in the Wilds. Now while this is a sequel of the film Romance in the Wilds, not worries you don't have to have seen that one to enjoy this film.
The film follows new couple Buck (Victor Zink Jr.) and Jessica (Kaitlyn Leeb) as the spend their Christmas together on a snowy adventure. But their happy little Christmas takes a dangerous turn. Than their fun Christmas adventure turns into a battle for survival.
Christmas in the Wilds has all the sappy sweetness you come to expect from the romantic holiday films. But what makes this one stand apart from other holiday films is this film filled with plot twists and action. The acting is a good, but for me seeing Smallville's Supergirl Laura Vandervoot was a highlight.
Mill Creek Entertainment has transferred this holiday film in widescreen format in 1.78:1 aspect ratio with a 5.1 Surround sound audio. The colors are vibrant and the cinematography look awesome on DVD.
Included on this Mill Creek Entertainment DVD is English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing. Also trailers for additional INSP holiday films, Christmas in the Pines, Christmas in the Rockies, Christmas on the Range, Christmas in the Smokies. The only downside I see in these release is no real bonus features, but that is a minor complaint.
