The horror genre of films has exploded. Many movie fans used to wait till Halloween to watch those horror films, but many horror junkies can't get enough of the terror so they what horror films year round.

Well, Mill Creek Entertainment has those movie fans covered with this new DVD and Digital release, Savage Creatures. It has Vampires, zombies and Aliens Oh My. Let's take a look at this release.

On the eve of an alien invasion, cannibals abduct two young women, but they have a shocking secret - they are ancient Vampires. Following a bloody and violent fight, the Vampires ladies come face confronted to face with the crisis of alien creatures trying to steal the souls of humanity, turning their victims into flesh eating Zombies. These two forces of evil clash in a war for dominance. Who will win? You have to see the film to find out.

The film is a typical B horror movie fare, complete with bad acting, clunky dialog, cheesy special effects and off the wall story. While this is not a Syfy Channel film this would be right at home along side those Syfy Channel originals.

Now just because the film is cheesy horror doesn't mean there is no entertainment value absolutely not. The film is so absurd and bad that it is fun to watch.

But there is not just the film on this DVD. There is bonus content of; A Director's commentary with writer/director Richard Lowery, Behind the scenes featurette and VFX Breakdown.
