Soul Team Six

Reviewed by Jason Lockard

Sometimes I think I was born in the wrong era. I love 70's cinema and television. There is just something about the 70's that seemed so much fun than our time. And the cinema was so no different.

Mill Creek Entertainment have decided to give us fans of the 70's a collection of movies that are action packed fun. Let's take a look at what is included in this collection.

Our Rating System:
**** = Don’t Miss it!
*** = Worth a look.
** = An Ok way to spend an evening.
* = You haven’t missed anything.

There is something about 70's cinema that I just love. These movies are the personification of ''groovy". These film include stars like; 'Mean' Joe Greene, Richard Pryor, Billy Dee Williams, Rod Perry, Robert Hooks, Dabney Coleman, Philip Michael Thomas, Tony Burton, Jayne Kennedy.

It is very good to note that most of these films are very adult oriented! These are not films for the entire family. They deal with adult themes. They have adult language and contain violence and some nudity. So parents beware.

The films are
presented in full screen format. The aspect ratio 1.33:1 aspect ratio. The audio is in Dolby digital. There is no physical bonus features on this collection. But six swinging 70's films on one set is more than enough for me to make this collection a recommendation to add to any 70's cinema fan.

As for the packaging the 2 DVD set features three at around 4 hours and 30 minute films per disc. You would think that amount of data on a disc would cause for bad quality, but the films look and
 sound pretty good. Both discs are secured in there own hub in a sturdy flipper case. As for the DVD menus, they couldn't be easier to access. Highlight the film title click and go.

So if your a fan of 70's cinema as much as me this collection is a must own. Head over to MillCreekEnt.com today. You can check out the trailer for The Black Godfather below!
