Tony and Ziva's epis journey comes to a conclusion with NCIS: Tony & Ziva Season 1 on DVD

Few television franchises have seen the success of NCIS. And have a more devoted fan base, you will probably never find, than those that love the NCIS universe. In the universe, to say Anthony DiNozzo and Ziva David's relationship has been strained would be an understatement.

Paramount+ decided to give Tony and Ziva a chance to finally work things out in their own series. That series was aptly named NCIS: Tony&Ziva. Now the first season of this Paramount+ series is available on DVD.

Synopsis: NCIS: TONY & ZIVA picks up after Ziva's supposed death, when Tony left the NCIS team to raise their daughter. Years later, Ziva was discovered alive, leading her to complete one final mission with NCIS before reuniting with Tony and their daughter Tali. Since then, Tony and Ziva have been raising their daughter together in Paris. When Tony's security company is attacked, they must flee across Europe to uncover who's after them-and perhaps learn to trust each other again, so they can finally have their unconventional happily ever after.

Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo have an undeniable chemistry together. This season is extremely short, running just 10 episodes. But they pack so much story in just 10 episodes. This is season one, but sadly, Paramount+ cancelled this series after the first season. But don't worry, this season ended on a satisfying note, not a cliffhanger.

Paramount Home Entertainment has spread these 10 season one episodes across 3 DVD discs. They are presented in widescreen format, and the audio track is an English Dolby Digital 5.1 track. There is also the option for English subtitles for the deaf and hard if hearing. 

While these episodes are on DVD and not Blu-ray, no worries the picture is crisp and clean and the audio is clear. There are no signs of digital artifacts or audio anomalies. But this DVD set is not just 10 episodes. Paramount added some nice bonus features to this set as well. Take a look at what is included.

For me this is where physical media trumps streaming ever time. The bonus features. I love featurettes, deleted scenes and the gag reels are always so much fun to watch. This DVD set is over 7 hours long. So there is a lot of entertainment in this season one set.
