In 2006, he starred in a film with quite a unique premise. That film was entitled Click. Now, for the 20th anniversary of this film's initial release, Sony Home Entertainment is giving Click a 4K UltraHD release.
Synopsis: A harried workaholic, Michael Newman (Adam Sandler) doesn't have time for his wife (Kate Beckinsale) and children, not if he's to impress his ungrateful boss and earn a well-deserved promotion. So when he meets Morty (Christopher Walken), a loopy sales clerk, he gets the answer to his prayers: a magical remote that allows him to bypass life's little distractions with increasingly hysterical results. But as Michael gleefully mutes, skips and scans past his family and his friends, the remote gradually takes over his life and begins to program him, in this fast, funny and out-of-control comedy adventure.
Adam Sandler and Kate Beckinsale have real chemistry together. Christopher Walken is unforgettable as Morty. Click is not your typical Sandler film. Most of the time his films are just crazy fun. This one has a message to it. While not as hilarious as his other films, it shows his ability to stretch and bit a bit dramatic when needed.
Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has transferred Click to 4K in 2160p and is presented in 1.85:1 aspect ratio. There are options for audio tracks in English Dolby Atmos, English Dolby TrueHD 7.1 and English DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1. There is also the option for subtitles in English, English SDH and Spanish.
Click in UltraHD is a great experience. The picture is sharp as a tack and the colors are bright and vibrant and the flesh tones are correct. In addition to a wonderful-looking transfer, Sony added some cool bonus features to this disc. Take a look at what is included.
