Relay (2024) Blu-ray Review

Director David Mackenzie knows how to make a thrilling piece of cinema. You want proof of that all you have to do is watch 2016's "Hell or High Water". Well, his recent thriller is 2024's Relay. The film included the acting talents of Sam Worthington (Avatar, Hacksaw Ridge and Clash of the Titans).

Now after Relay's festival run, and the theatrical run. It is time for the physical media release. Watch out The Blu-ray is coming in hot!

Synopsis: After a world-class “fixer,” who brokers lucrative payoffs between corporations and the whistleblowers who threaten their ruin, receives a message from an intriguing new client, the strict set of rules he lives by quickly start to change.

Relay is not a slow-burn thriller! From the opening scene to the closing credits this film is a thrill ride. The script by Justin Piasecki is so well crafted and the performances are truly must see. Riz Ahmed and Lily James are spectacular. Mackenzie weaves an exciting and entertaining tale that you will watch and rewatch!

Relay has been transferred to Blu-ray in 1080p and presented in 2.35:1 aspect ratio. The audio track is an English DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1, also
an English audio description in Dolby Digital 2.0. There are also English subtitles.

Sadly, there is so bonus features to be found on this Blu-ray disc. That is a real shame. I would have enjoyed an audio commentary, behind the scenes documentary, interviews, something. Just some simple bonus feature would take this great movie's Blu-ray release to a spectacular one! But yeah, it is a bare bones disc.

If you enjoy thrillers or the films of David Mackenzie this latest release of Relay on Blu-ray is an absolute much add to your home video library. Head over to
