Spaced Invaders (1990)

There is just something so ultra cool about movies from the 1980’s and 90’s. Maybe it’s nostalgia or maybe it’s the kid in me wishing I could go back to those days again. Whatever the case maybe, when I read of the 25th anniversary Blu-ray and DVD release of Spaced Invaders from Mill Creek Entertainment the kid in me jumped for joy.

This hilarious adventure follows five of the universe’s hippest and coolest aliens as they crash-land on Earth in a sleepy Midwestern town. The invasion that was planned now goes awry as it’s Halloween night and the citizens mistake these spaced invaders for harmless trick-or-treaters. Now these misguided Martians bungle their way into a series of madcap misadventures!

The special effects are typical for the 90s movies. But the story is 'out of this world'. The film is just a load of fun for the entire family. The acting and the cinematography is good.  In my opinion the film still holds up in 2018 just as good as it did in 1990. Kids of the 80s and 90s can show their kids this great release and relive their childhoods all over again.

This Blu-ray features a beautiful film transfer. It looks and sounds great. The only downside is that there are
no bonus features. But for a kid of the 90s having this comedy sci-fi classic on Blu-ray is more than worth the price! You can also get it on DVD as well.

So for fans of sci-fi comedies, 90s movies, or funny aliens this is a must own for your collection. And if you have never seen this campy classic what better time than Halloween. I highly recommend you head over to www.Amazon.com or see if your local Blu-ray provider has a copy. It's a fun little sci-fi comedy classic.
