Another Wolf Cop (2017) {Blu-ray Revew}

In case your are unaware of this! Another Wolf Cop is a sequel to the 2015 film Wolf Cop that followed an alcoholic police officer who, through a satanic ritual, became a werewolf. It was typical B comedy/horror movie! Well, two years later it was time to see a sequel thus Another Wolf Cop was born!

Another Wolf Cop continues the adventures of the hard-drinking Officer Lou Garou (Leo Fafard), the lycanthrope crime-fighter who is sworn to keep the town of Woodhaven safe. But, when an entrepreneur known as Swallows (Yannick Bisson), is looking to open a new brewery and revive the local hockey team, but it’s clear he has less than pure motives.

If you saw Wolf Cop you know what your in for here. Horror, Gore and off color humor. The cinematography is excellent. The special effects in the film are cheesy which is what your looking for in these type of films. Though the gory violence and off color humor was a little much for me.

As I watched the film it feels like the already thin story, takes a bit of a backseat to the numerous gags. I wished writer/director Lowell Dean would have put a little more work into the story. Kevin Smith make a special appearance in this film in a vital role and it was cool to see him! The actors put everything they have into their roles, but sadly when there is not much meat on the role there is only so much an actor can do!

This blu-ray release give you a stunning looking and sounding copy of the film, but that's not all there is the bonus features; The Making of Another Wolfcop, Friends and Foes: Meet the Cast, The Monster Shop: Special FX and Shoot or Die!: Surviving on Set.

This film was not made for me and it is not for everyone! This is only for people who enjoy the really gory over the top type of horror comedy film. If that sounds like you than by all means head over to Amazon.com
