Director Chung Sun doesn't go for star power here, but he takes an interesting script and makes an exciting and dramatic film. The fights in To Kill A Mastermind is just what you come to expect from a Shaw Brothers film. One cool thing with this film is you think you know where it's going and it twists in a different direction. In a side note look own for one of the coolest weapons I've ever seen a metal claw glove.

88 Films have transferred "To Kill A Mastermind" to Blu-ray in High Definition (1080p). The film is presented in 2.35:1 aspect ratio taken from the original camera negative. The audio is the original Mandarin audio 2.0 with newly translated English subtitles.
