The Inspector Wears Skirts film series started off with a bang and with the involvement of the great Jackie Chan this series was an action-packed incredibly fun series. But by the time we got to film #4 Jackie Chan had left the series and with a decreased budget the series had kind of overstayed it's welcome!
Synopsis: To save the Hong Kong Police Force's Banshee Squad from becoming defunct, the struggling new squad members seek the help of former officers Amy (Sandra Ng Kwan Yue), now a divorced mom with a young kid, and May (Kara Hui), now partially mentally-unstable, to help them with their training regiment, lead by Madame Yang (Cynthia Khan). Their police skills are put to the test when they are ordered to nab a band of brutal thugs in the city.
There was one constant with The Inspector Wears Skirts film series in the first 3 films and that was the amazing talents of Sibelle Hu. Well, here #4 suffers from the loss of Sibelle Hu. But we do get the returning cast of Sandra Ng, Kara Hui and Billy Lau, and Wung Fu.
The Inspector Wears Skirts 4 in my humble opinion here tries to reinvent the series. Trying to take it into a female James Bond like series with cool gadgets like jet shoes. But sadly moving away from the formula that made this series popular would prove a problem as this film would prove to be the end of this series! But it is still an enjoyable little adventure!
The Inspector Wears Skirts 4 has been transferred to Blu-ray in 1080p and presented in 1.85:1 Aspect Ratio. The audio is a 2.0 DTS-HD Master Audio Cantonese Soundtrack with newly translated English Subtitles.
Now this transfer is not just any transfer this transfer is from a brand new 2K Restoration from the Original Camera Negatives. The picture quality is pretty sharp. The colors are vibrant and the skin tones are perfect. The audio is clean. There is no signs of damage that I noticed and no digital artifacts were found.

Now as I have stated before on this website I love artwork. So when we get mini-posters in a release I truly enjoy them. I will never own a Picasso, Rembrandt or a Van Gogh, but for me these are the best. They bring me the best of both worlds, movies and art.
