The Dick Van Dyke Show won 15 Emmy Awards during it's 5 Season run. In 1997, TV Guide listed the 100 greatest Episode of all time. "Coast-to-Coast Big Mouth" and "It May Look Like a Walnut" landed 8 and 15 respectively on the list!

All 158 episodes are spread across 20 DVDs. The episodes are presented in the original full screen format. The audio is a Dolby digital 2.0. In addition, there is English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing. I am glad that there is no stretching of the picture to fit the widescreen TVs of today, as I have seen in some releases.

In addition to all the episodes of these 5 seasons on DVD, there is the addition of the TV special The Dick Van Dyke Show Remembered. Featuring clips of the show and celebrities and the stars of the show talking about this ultra fun series. Each of the Seasons have its own 4disc hub DVD case with original season artwork.  All five season DVDs slip into a special Cardboard case seen above.

Now this ultra fun series was released on Blu-ray about 10 years ago. But it is extremely expensive, if you can even find a copy as they are out of print now. When I look at this DVD set in comparison to the Blu-ray, t
hese episodes on DVD looks and sound pretty great. This is a tremendous budget set of this complete series. I highly recommend it!

If you love classic TV as much as I do the complete series DVD set of The Dick Van Dyke Show is a must own. Head over to MovieZyng and order your copy of this set today!
