That 70s Show (Walmart Exclusive DVD Review)

The 70s Show DVD Case
Complete TV series box sets bring the viewer an opportunity to binge a show from beginning to end. One of my favorite companies Mill Creek Entertainment have been bringing many amazing TV Box sets over the years the latest being Magnum P.I. and SeaQuest DSV.

Now it's time for another box set. This time a Fox sitcom, That 70s Show. A sitcom created by the creators Bonnie and Terry Turner, the team that created one of my favorite sitcoms 3rd Rock From the Sun. Now a Mill Creek Entertainment Walmart DVD exclusive of the TV show That 70s Show.

From 1998-2006 Fox brought to the small screen the coming of age sitcom of a group of teens in 1970s Wisconsin. The group live in the suburbs, but hangout in the basement, as they yearn for independence amid the growing pains of becoming adults.

There are some very familiar names in this series, including; Ashton Kutcher (Netflix’s The Ranch), Topher Grace (Interstallar), Mila Kunis (Bad Moms), Wilmer Valderrama (CBS’s NCIS), Laura Prepon (Netflix’s Orange is the New Black), Danny Masterson (Netflix’s The Ranch).

Just some amazing guest stars were, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson (Black Adam), Eve Plumb (Brady Bunch), Joseph Gordon-Levitt (3rd Rock from the Sun), Katey Sagal (Married with Children), Gloria Gaynor (), Amy Adams (), Shirley Jones (The Partridge Family), Charo, Melissa Joan Hart (Sabrina The Teenage Witch), Alice Cooper, Wayne Knight (Seinfeld), Richard Karn (Home Improvement), French Stewart (3rd Rock from the Sun), Bobcat Goldthwait, Billy Dee Williams (Star Wars), Morgan Fairchild, Lindsay Lohan, Bruce Willis (Die Hard), Mary Tyler Moore (The Mary Tyler Moore Show) and Don Knotts (The Andy Griffith Show, Three's Company), Just to name a few.

I don't have a nostalgia for this series as this was the first time I have ever watched it. So from fresh eyes I must say I really enjoyed watching this series. As with all series some episodes are better than others, but for the most part these episodes are hilarious off the wall and a lot of fun.

All 8 seasons and 200 episodes are stretched across 16 DVD discs. And now for the first time on DVD these episodes are presented in
16:9 Widescreen in 1.78:1 aspect ratio and 5.1 Surround Sound.

Mill Creek Entertainment loads 13 episodes on a disc. Now with that amount of episodes you might think that the quality would suffer, but you would be wrong.
The episodes look really great on DVD. The picture is crisp, the audio is clear and the colors are vibrant.

Now with most of these budget Mill Creek Entertainment TV box sets. The disc are in the cardboard sleeves. For many people this is a big no no. I have no issues with them whatsoever. In addition to the entire series added some amazing bonus features. Take a look at what in included.
