Now while these westerns may not be "The Great American Western", they are very entertaining! Yul Brynner was an amazing lead in the first two films, but sadly he didn't return for the final two films. But no worries there are plenty of amazing actors to fill the void all through these films.
I am so glad that every film in this collection gets it's own disc. There is no squeezing of data on this discs. The films are presented in it's original widescreen format. The first three films in 2.35:1 aspect ratio and the final film in1.85:1 aspect ratio. The films are also come with Spanish and french dubs on certain films for those that would like that option.
Now with my copy of this collection it came with a digital code for all four films. That was unexpected and completely cool! I think if you are a fan of westerns or great action films The Magnificent Seven Collection will be right up your alley.
I know in 2016 The Magnificent Seven was remade featuring Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt, Ethan Hawk and others. And I mean no disparaging remarks to that film. But for me there is nothing like the classics. I enjoy films from the older era. I probably always will. The original films are priceless.
