Mill Creek Entertainment has made many Kaiju fans very happy with their releases of Ultra Q and Ultra Man on Blu-ray. But there is so much more to the Ultraman Universe than just these two releases.

Ultraman Orb is the 28th entry to the Ultra Series. It was released in late 2016 to celebrate the 50th anniversary. Now while it is available for viewing on Crunchyroll. It was not available on Blu-ray in the US that is until now thanks to Mill Creek Entertainment.

The series follows
Naomi who is having the same strange dream since she was young: visions of a giant of light battling a giant monster. With her interest sparked by those dreams, she starts the paranormal phenomena tracking website called "SSP" with her friends Jetta and Shin. One day the trio is on the tail of a mysterious animal suspected of causing strange meteorological activity. They encounter the Cyclone Lord Monster, Maga-Basser! Naomi is blasted vicious winds but rescued by the vagabond, Gai Kuernai. By using his Orb Ring, Gai is able to Fusion Up into a warrior of light from a distant galaxy, Ultraman Orb!

The series consisted of 25 Episodes plus an Ultraman Orb movie!

Disc One: The Sunset Wanderer / The King Demon Beast of Earth / Monstrous Waters / Beware of Fire in the Midsummer Sky / A Heart That Won't Run Away"

Disc Two: The Forbidden Forest / A Future Shrouded in Fog / The Urban Merman / The Impostor Blues / Juggler Dies!

The episodes run around 25 minutes each. They are presented in the original widescreen format aspect ratio in 1.78:1 and in the Japanese DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0. There is English subtitles. There are five episodes on each disc giving these episodes the highest quality bitrate. They look and sound out of this world amazing! Ultraman fans will be very pleased with these Blu-ray transfers.

Now as for the packaging! This entire six-disc Blu-ray set comes housed in a slim Blu-ray case. Each Blu-ray disc has its
own hub in a hard shell Blu-ray case. There is no stacking of discs on this one, which many people hate. There is a very cool collector's booklet, that features an in-depth synopsis of each episode and information about the series, the monsters, and characters in this series. Finally, the slipcover (seen above) has amazing artwork, but the actual Blu-ray case insert has completely different artwork which will have collectors going crazy.

So if you are a fan of the classic Ultraman and you haven't seen the latest version. Or if you're a fan of this version and want it on Blu-ray. This is the perfect way to do it! Head over to MillCreekEnt.com, Amazon.com or your local DVD provider and pick up your copy today.
