Mill Creek has been the provider for goods entertainment for many years now. Whether it's adventures, horror, comedy, drama or tv. They got us covered on all fronts.
Well, one of the newest offering for the month of November for fans is, Funny Little Cars now on DVD. Lets take a look at this release.
The place is Doom Valley it seems like the perfect little community but it is being destroyed by the evil Archibald and his criminals. It’s up to the few residents left in town to stay and fight back. There is a wrinkle in this whole story. Citizens of Doom Valley are not human beings but cars, trucks, boats, scooters, and containers with strong human characteristics.
The animation in this feature is pretty good. You can see they didn't have the biggest of budgets for this release. But in my opinion kids are not going to examine the quality of the production.
The voice actors put their all into the characters, which is nice to hear. The story is simplistic for even the smallest of children. But with that simplistic story can come that parents are going to find this film too much for kids. So parents will probably be bored with this one.
As for the DVD itself, the film is presented in widescreen 16x9 and in Dolby Digital audio. It looks and sounds really good. I think kids are going to get a kick out of the adventures of the "Funny Little Cars". But there is no bonus features of any kind. But for kids they don't care. So that won't be too much of a problem.
So if you are looking for a good video for the kids in your house you can't go wrong with Funny Little Cars.
