Rediscovered Comedies of Edgar Kennedy, Volume 6 (1932-1946) {DVD Review}

Reviewed by Jason S. Lockard

In the early days of motion pictures people loved to go to the theater and enjoy the antics of comedians such as Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton, Charlie Chase and many of the other great comedians. This is where Edgar Kennedy got his start in some of their short films.

He soon became known for his 'slow burn', which was  an exasperated facial expression, performed very deliberately; Kennedy embellished this by rubbing his hand over his bald head and across his face, in an attempt to hold his temper.

Alpha Video has released a new DVD filled with short films starring the slow burn master himself Edgar Kennedy. Lets take a look what is included in this collection.
