I Married Joan Collection 2 (1953-1955) {DVD Review}

Reviewed by Jason S. Lockard

Joan Davis was known for her slapstick style of physical comedy. The only woman that was in her league was Lucille Ball. Her show I married Joan some people consider it a cheap knock off of I love Lucy but it had a complete charm all of it's own.

This 2 disc DVD set has 12 episodes in very nice quality when you realize that these episodes range around 65 years old. There is some imperfections in the picture and in the audio in some episodes, but that is to be expected and shouldn't take away from the viewing of the episodes.

This is a collection of good clean family friendly comedy. When is the last time you could sit down together as a family and all laugh and not be worried about profanity or innuendos. I can't recommend this collection and #1 as well enough.
