A Study in Terror (1965) {Blu-ray Review}

Reviewed By Jason S. Lockard

Some characters are so iconic they transcend all time! One such character is Sherlock Holmes! The Adventures of the great detective Sherlock Holmes have been captured on radio, film, TV, books, comics you name it! But in 1965 Sherlock Holmes would chase an infamous killer of all time in the film A Study in Terror! Now this film is on Blu-ray through Mill Creek Entertainment!

The film follows Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson as they join the hunt for the most notorious killers in the city Jack The Ripper! I don't want to go into any great detail as it may spoil the film and you'll want to check this one out!

John Neville plays Holmes and Donald Houston is Watson and the do an outstanding job as the iconic pair! The story does drag at times and if your not a huge Sherlock fan you can find yourself loosing interest! The audio and video quality of the film looks nice on the big screen!

As far as the Blu-ray release goes you get a really nice copy of the film, but there is no bonus features at all. Not a trailer a photo gallery. Nothing! That is a little bit of a bummer!

So if you love Sherlock Holmes this is defiantly one to check out! If your not a die hard Sherlock fan maybe not so much! Head over to www.MillCreekEnt.com or your local Blu-ray provider today and get a copy for yourself!
