Hey! Hey! Hey! was the term made famous from the popular 70’s sitcom What’s happening! Now thanks to Mill Creek Entertainment to can relive the antics of Raj, Duane, and Re-Run all over again with the DVD release of the complete first and season seasons.


This series was based on the popular 70’s film Cooley High. What’s Happening follows a small group of high-school pals Raj, Dwayne, Rerun along with Shirley waitress at the local hamburger joint and Raj’s Mama and pesky little sister Dee. In this series the group deals with everything from love to loneliness and from fame to failure.

Some of the best episodes in the first two season included; The birthday present: When Raj tries to raise enough money to buy Mama a birthday present he ends up playing dice playing and even writing an IOU to a store. The Tickets: Mama gives Raj two tickets to a Stevie Wonder concert! Now the tough decision who to take with him Dwayne or Rerun. Black and white blues: While watching a football game at Raj’s house, their black and white set goes berserk and Rerun suggests that they “borrow” the new color TV set that is being offered as a prize at a church raffle. What’s could go wrong? Mama the school girl: Raj’s Mama decides to go back to school. Only problem it’s at Raj’s school and she even gets his teacher, Miss Collins.

This four disc DVD set includes all 43 season 1 and 2 episodes in really good audio and video quality. The DVD menus are easy to access! This is just a really great collection for the whole family to enjoy!
