It’s time to get happy all over again with The Partridge Family! Academy Award winner Shirley Jones stars as Shirley Partridge, the matriarch of America’s first family rock band. Now thanks to Mill Creek Entertainment you can own the first two seasons for a great low price.


The series follows a widow and her five children who take there dreams and make it a reality by playing music for a living. In the first two seasons this series got many amazing guest stars to appear including; Johnny Cash, Dick Clark, Mark Hamill, Richard Pryor, Louis Gossett Jr., Farrah Fawcett, Harry Morgan, Ray Bolger, Gordon Jump, Vic Tayback, Jackie Coogan, Morey Amsterdam, Annette O’Toole, Rob Reiner, Howard Cosell and many, many more to numerous to mention!

Some of the more memorable episodes in these two season include; The Sound of Money: After a minor traffic accident the so-called ‘injured’ victim decides to sues the Partridge’s for a million dollars. Soul Club: A mix-up has the family to Detroit to play in a black social club which is in financial trouble. Partridge up a pear tree: Keith buys a used car, a 1952 Hudson which brings more grief than joy and taps deeply in his finances. A man called Snake: A motorcycle gang member develops a crush on Laurie, and she shocks everyone when she agrees to go out with him. Whatever happened to Moby Dick?: Danny wants to add a whale to the act to cash in on the ecology movement. Tale of two hamsters: The Partridge kids decide to raise hamsters. With them multiplying, the family is forced to bring them on the bus.

These two seasons brought us 49 hilarious and music filled episodes on 4 discs. Each episode is presented in full frame and really good audio and video quality. The DVD menu is easy to access.
