Sudden Fury: A family torn apart (1993) {DVD Review}

Reviewed By Jason S. Lockard

Made for TV movies are good forms of entertainment and sometimes they are just something really special. On November 21, 1993 Sudden Fury: A family torn apart aired on NBC. It was based on the novel Sudden Fury: A True Story of Adoption and Murder by Leslie Walker, was made into a TV Movie. Now the good folks at Mill Creek Entertainment bring us this film on DVD.

This TV movie follows The Hannigans, the perfect family. Mother a school teacher, father an engineer, fine upstanding church going people, at least that's how it seems. Behind closed doors things are quite different. When Joe and Maureen Hanigan our found murdered, their two adopted sons, Brian and Daniel are accused of murder. But there is much more to the story than that. What is it? You'll have to watch the film to find out.

Sudden Fury is a chilling tale based on a true story. Neil Patrick Harris known at the time for his role in Doogie Howser M.D. and Johnny Galecki known at the time for his role David on the hit show Roseanne star as the two Hannigan brothers and do an outstanding job. I really enjoyed this TV movie! engaging and keeps your interested from beginning to end.

The DVD includes an outstandingly beautiful copy of the film. It is presented in full screen format, and before anyone has fits about that, realize that this was before HD TV content. The audio is crisp and clear.

So if your a fan of thrillers, mysteries, Neil Patrick Harris this would make a great addition to your collection. Head over to Deep Discount or your local DVD provider today.
