Warner Archive Collection have transferred these Tom and Jerry shorts to Blu-Ray in 1080p in their original theatrical aspect ratios of 1.37:1 before 1954 and 2.35:1 the years after. The audio track is an English DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0. There are also English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing.
Warner Archive have restored these classic cartoons, and they have never looked more crisp and clean than they do now. I have to say I grew up watching these cartoons, but seeing these now. If like seeing them for the first time.

It is so awesome that Warner Archive decided to port over all these bonus features into this super deluxe Blu-ray! Now in addition to all these on disc bonus features. Warner Archive gave this release a booklet insert that features original sketches for The Golden Era. Finally, this set has a shiny slipcover, that makes this release even that much better.
For me the best era for Tom and Jerry was The Golden Era and to see al 114 cartoons beautifully restored and released in HD on this 6 Disc deluxe set, makes the kid in me leap for joy.
