The Woman (2011) When a successful country lawyer captures and attempts to "civilize" the last remaining member of a violent clan that has roamed the Northeast coast for decades, he puts the lives of his family in jeopardy. ***
If you are a fan of The Walking Dead Universe you will no doubt know Pollyanna McIntosh the star of these movies. But in addition to her unforgettable performance, we see familiar faces of Sean Bridgers (Room), Angela Bettis (May) and Lauren Ashley (Darling).
These films are extremely gory and admittedly are going to be tough for some audience members to sit through. I had a tough time with these at times myself and I have reviewed a lot of horror films over my years. But there is not denying the entertainment value of these horror films.
Arrow Video have performed a wonderful 4K restoration supervised and approved by Lucky McKee. The films are presented in 4K (2160p) Ultra HD Blu-ray presentation in Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible). The audio track is a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround audio. There is also the option for English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing.
Arrow Video has done it again with another tremendous 4K restoration. The picture is crisp and clean and the audio is clear. There is not digital artifacts or audio anomalies on these transfers. But Arrow Video didnt stop there. They added so much bonus features to this 2 Disc 4K set. Take a look at what is included.
