Top 7 Fred MacMurray Films

When most people hear the name Fred MacMurray they probably think the classic TV show My Three Sons. But before Fred became a TV legend he had a tremendous film career, including comedies, dramas, and film noirs. 

Fred MacMurray was born on August 30th 1908. Now 114 years later we celebrate what would have been Fred MacMurray's 114th birthday with a countdown of our Top 7 Favorite films.

Fred was a heavy smoker for the majority of his life and in the late 1970s was diagnosed with throat cancer. He also was diagnosed with leukemia and had a paralyzing stroke. On November 5, 1991 Fred MacMurray passed away from pneumonia. But Fred left behind a huge catalogue of films of every genre, that audiences will enjoy for generations to come.
