Jane Alice Peters best known by her acting name Carole Lombard was an accomplished actress whose career was cut short by a tragic plane crash, she was only 33 years of age. She started her career at the young age of 16.

She was known for her screwball comedies. She starred opposite some of the biggest names in Hollywood history. Kino Lorber Studio Classics are shining a light of the talent of this bright star whose light was snuffed out to soon!

This new Blu-ray set is entitled The Carole Lombard Collection II. Let's take a look at what is included in this set.

All three of these films are romantic comedies that Carole Lombard excelled at. The screenplays are filled with great dialogue and the acting is exceptional. There is a very strong chemistry between Fred MacMurray and Carole Lombard.

These films are presented in glorious black and white and in their original full screen format. 1.37:1 aspect ratio and in 1080p. The audio is DTS-HD Master dual-mono English track. These film transfers look stunning in HD. There is little to no damage to these prints.
