Many kids dream of being sports stars when they grow up, but very, very few ever make it to those heights. But that doesn't mean that as adults they can't still play they game they loved.
In East Hanover, NJ there is a men's softball team named The Noogies, they have never had a winning season. A spark is needed within this organization to have the courage to defy the odds, to become heroes. Therefore, a female coach agreed to teach the Noogies how to truly play the game.
Cameras follow around the members of the Noogies softball team, for complete unapologetic look at their attempt to turn around their loosing ways. There is some heated exchanges and you can see winning means more to these players than you really ever realized.
This documentary is very well edited and you really find yourself rooting for The Noogies to get their acts together and win. I have to say this is not a film for the whole family as this film is filled with very adult language. So parents do keep this in mind.
