Secret Stores of Hitler

Some believe
writer and philosopher George Santayana once said, 'Those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it.' I think that statement is so very true. Trying to pretend evil never occurred is not going to help us protect our world from future evils.

One of the most evil men that ever walked the face of the Earth was Adolph Hitler. The evil that he was in charge of perpetrating was horrendous. But let's not pretend it didn't happen. Let's learn from it, so that we can try to prevent it from ever happening again!

As part of a new documentary collection Mill Creek Entertainment has put together a collection of documentaries that go behind what we think we know of Hitler and shine a light on who he was and maybe a little glimpse into why he did what he did! Here is what is included on this collection.

                                                          DISC ONE

SWASTIKA (1974) This is a very controversial documentary about Hitler, that utilizes intimate home movie footage shot by Eva Braun to present a more humanizing look at the dictator.

Beyond the film there is bonus content of a filmmaker discussion, Albert Speer and Lutz Becker BBC Interview, Colour film in Nazi Germany, Manipulation and Nazi Propaganda and Puncturing the Myth of Leni Riefenstahl.

                                                          DISC TWO

U-BOATS: HITLER’S SHARKS (2006) This 3 part documentary series explores how the sea became a vitally important scene of conflict during World War II.
