Synopsis: When a mysterious infection spreads through Buenos Aires, the city collapses into chaos. Told through four different points of view, PORTRAITS OF THE APOCALYPSE follows ordinary people trapped in extraordinary horror -- a journalist, a soldier, a mother, and a stranger -- each fighting to survive as the dead reclaim the streets. From the first outbreak to the desperate final stand, the film paints a raw and emotional portrait of humanity pushed to its breaking point.

This anthology film had a small budget, but for such a small budget, what results is an entertaining and disgusting horror film that horror hounds will truly appreciate. What makes an anthology film so good is the fact that you never get a chance to get bored with the film cause the story is over and its on to the one.

Cleopatra Entertainment has transferred this film to DVD and is presented in widescreen format. There are two audio options to choose from: the original Spanish track and the English dub. There are also English subtitles available.

The film transfer is good you can see the grittiness of the film in surprising detail, being this is a DVD. There are no digital artifacts or audio anomalies. The DVD includes a Slideshow and Trailers. Kind of light on the bonus features.
