But now it is time for a new Blu-ray and this one I never expected, but here we are. Touche Turtle and Dum Dum: The Complete Series.

While Touche Turtle and Dum Dum may not be the most well-known of the Hanna-Barbera cartoons. That does not mean it is entertaining. It is so cool to see a hero turtle long before there was the iconic TMNT aka Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Touche Turtle and Dum Dum travel to different time periods trying to do good deeds. Sometime they may not be as competent, but they never lack confidence!
The complete series has been restored and transferred to 1080p in the original 1.33:1 aspect ratio. The audio track is a DTS-HD Master audio 2.0. There are also English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing.
Seeing these episodes in HD is simply amazing. I remember seeing an episode or two on Boomarang, these episodes now are crisp and clean. I didn't see any damage to these prints. In fact I was extremely impressed with how great they look!
All 52 5-minute episodes are collected on 2 Blu-ray discs. There are no bonus features on this set. But hey we are getting 52 classic cartoons for the first time ever in HD on Blu-ray. How can we complain?
Okay so truth be told Touche Turtle is not the best Hanna-Barbera cartoon, but it is still an entertaining cartoon. And no Hanna-Barbera cartoon collection can truly be complete without this series. And to have it in HD is the perfect way to own it!
