Warner Brothers has re-released Austin Powers the Spy how Shagged Me on Blu-ray. And now it is time to complete the trilogy with Austin Powers Goldmember on Blu-ray. It is hard to believe that the final film in the trilogy is actually 23 year old. Austin Powers Goldmember was released in 2002 now is released for the 23rd anniversary on Blu-ray!
Synopsis: When Austin Powers finds out his father has been kidnapped by his arch enemy Dr. Evil and the mysterious Goldmember. Austin must travel to 1975 and defeat the aptly named villain Goldmember and save his father.
Director Jay Roach (“Meet the Parents”, “Meet the Fockers”) occupied the director's chair for the entire trilogy and end on a high note. It is amazing that through all of the trilogy the fun never dips. Even by the time we get to movie #3 Goldmember the fun is still there in full force. Now no one is ever going to compare this trilogy to the best trilogies in film history, but there is no denying how much fun these films are to watch from beginning to end. And Beyoncé is a wonderful addition to this film series.
Warner Brothers Home Entertainment have transferred Austin Powers: Goldmember to Blu-ray in 1080p and presented in 2.40:1 aspect ratio. There are audio options English Dolby TrueHD 5.1, Dolby Digital 5.1, Spanish 2.0. There is also the option for subtitles in English and Spanish.
Austin Power Goldmember looks and sounds groovy on Blu-ray! The colors and bright and vibrant and the picture is sharp and clean. The audio is clear as a bell. There is no signs of digital artifacts or audio anomalies on this Blu-ray. The film looks tremendous in HD!
