In 2024 the unique holiday film Silent Bite was released. Now Cleopatra Entertainment and MVD Visual have released this film on Blu-ray and DVD just in time to make it part of your holiday season.
Synopsis: A gang of bank robbers take shelter in a motel after a Christmas Eve bank heist, unbeknownst to them they are not the most dangerous thing seeking refuge on this cold Christmas night
During Christmas there are so many of the sappy Hallmark like Christmas features. It seems that televisions are flooded by these types of films. Well make no mistake about it, Silent Bite is not one of those kinds of films.
Taylor Martin directed a film that follows suit of other holiday horror films but does it with a unique twist. While it does drag a little in spots, it is still a solid holiday horror film. Film fans who love violent, profanity filled Christmas horror, will really take a big bite out of this one.
Silent Bite has been transferred to Blu-ray in 1080p and presented in widescreen format. the audio track is a DTS-HD Master Audio 51. There is also the option for English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing.
Silent Bite looks really nice on Blu-ray. The picture is crisp and clean with no digital artifacts and the audio is clean with no audio anomalies. The Christmas colors are on full display here and really pop off the screen. This is a wonderful looking transfer. Then there is some bonus features included on the Blu-ray disc.

As you can see the bonus features are a bit on the small side. I think a making of featurette or interviews with the cast and director would really have amped up this release a whole lot.
