Now MD Rewind Collection have been giving these 'cult classics' deluxe Blu-ray releases, that fans are just eating up. Now its Cheeleaders' Wild Weekend turn for a Blu-ray release.
Synopsis: A group of comely and curvaceous cheerleaders are kidnapped by a vengeful jock (Jason Williams, Flesh Gordon) and held for ransom in an isolated hideout. Plotting an escape, these shapely victims let by Debbie Williams (Kristine DeBell, Alice in Wonderland), use their hidden charms to entice their captors. But eventually kidnappers and victims are drawn ultimately together in exhilarating excitement while plotting to steal the ransom money and foil the cops.
Okay let's be totally honest here, no one is ever going to put Cheerleaders' Wild Weekend on the list of great American films. But for T&A fans this is one of those films that will bring a lot of joy. Most people know Kristine DeBell from her roles alongside Bill Murray in Meatballs and Barbara Streisand in The Main Event. But here she is in a skin flick.
MVD Rewind Collection has transferred Cheerleaders' Wild Weekend to Blu-ray in 1080p the film is presented in 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen ratio. The audio is LPCM 2.0 Mono. Finally, there is English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing.
MVD Rewind Collection has done a wonderful job with this transfer. The colors are bright and vibrant and the audio is clean. The picture quality is not bad. There is some lines and specks throughout the film, but nothing that should take away from the enjoyment of watching this film. But as we know MVD Rewind doesn't give us bare bones releases.
