In 1985 Dario Argento and Lamberto Bava brought the would a nightmarish film like nothing audiences had scene before with Demons. Synapse Films restored Demons in 4K and released it in deluxe 4K UltraHD edition. You can read the review of that release here!

Well, just a short year later in 1986 the duo brought us a sequel to the cult horror film with Demons 2. And you guessed it Synapse Films have restored the sequel film in 4K and are releasing it in deluxe 4K UltraHD edition.

Synopsis: There's a scary movie on television and the residents of a luxury high-rise apartment building have their eyes glued to their sets. Unfortunately for a young birthday girl, an eternal demonic evil is released through her TV and partygoers soon find themselves fighting an army of murderous monsters! Acid blood, demonic dogs, possessed children and rampaging zombies wreak havoc on the trapped tenants! As more and more people are infected and transformed into blood-thirsty demons, a young couple fights to survive as they try to escape hell on earth!

Okay so Demons 2 is not as strong a film as the first one, but it is still a horrifying twisted gory tale of terror. The practical effects and make-up are just as good here in the sequel as they are in the first film. Again the acting isn't great, but its okay. And the story while not as compelling, still is gives the viewer a fun little ride.

Synapse Films have remastered Demons 2 in 4K from the original camera negative in Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible). There are audio options for the
Uncompressed DTS-HD MA English 5.1 & Italian 5.1/2.0 audio mixes derived from the original archival audio masters or the Uncompressed DTS-HD MA English 2.0 true stereo theatrical mix.

In addition Synapse Films added the option of
Newly translated optional English SDH subtitles for the English version and Newly translated English subtitles for the Italian version. That is always a cool bonus as older subtitles can sometimes feel outdated!

Now just like Synapse Films did for Demons, the did for Demons 2.
This new remaster takes an 80s horror films and makes it look crisp and clean. But a tremendous looking remastered film is not all that this 4K has going for it. Synapse Films added some awesome bonus features as well. Take a look at what is included.
