The Nico Mastorakis Collection

Nico Mastorakis was a controversial film maker that may be best known for  writing and directing the infamous exploitation horror film Island of Death in 1975 or the cult classic 1982's Blood Tide.

Arrow Video known for making deluxe Blu-ray collections for film fans have collected six Nico Mastorakis cult classics. Now you can own some of the film of the infamous B-movie director, Nico Mastorakis!

Time Traveler (1982)
An astronaut's widow and her young son meet a stranger from the future on a Greek island. **

Sky High (1985) 
A group of American students traveling in Greece find themselves accidentally involved with a new type of drug--and the gang that wants it. **

Terminal Exposure (1987)
 Two beach bum camera enthusiasts accidentally capture a murder on film. Now detectives, the boys set out to capture a murderess shot only from behind, with a rose tattoo on her behind. Fun in the sun turns dangerous when they end up shooting bullets instead of film. **

Glitch (1988) 
Two thieves rob a large fancy house when the owner is away. But when a visitor mistakes them for the owner, and they find out about a casting party mis-scheduled for that day, they decide to stick around for the fun. **

Ninja Academy (1989) 
Misfits attend a kung-fu master's coed school, then have a showdown with a rival school. In this Police Academy style movie.  **

Naked Truth (1992) 
Two friends accidentally obtain a suitcase at the airport. The context of this suitcase is incriminating evidence against a mafia boss. When the boss sends an associate to take them out, the two hide out by impersonating make-up women for a beauty pageant. **

All six of these films have been transferred to Blu-ray in 1080p and are presented in 1.85:1 aspect ratio. There are two audio soundtracks an original English
 stereo and an English 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. There is also the option for English subtitles for the deaf and hard-of-hearing.

Arrow Video has done a tremendous job making this b movies look their absolute best! Arrow Video never ceases to amaze me at the clarity and brightness of the colors of their restorations. Now I am not going to try and spin this any other way that telling the truth. These are not great films. These are b movies at their heart. If you have watched Nico Mastorakis films before well, you know what you can expect. If not just don't expect too much from these films, sir back and enjoy the bad acting and crazy storylines and you will have fun with this release.
