MeTV Toons Channel Coming Soon!

In exciting new for classic cartoon streamers, Weigel Broadcasting is developing a 24-hour classic cartoon channel that will feature retro animated series from Warner Bros Discovery (WBD).

This new channel will be a FAST (free ad supported TV) Channel. The channel is set to be launched in mid-June. In addition to the streaming channel, the channel will be available as an over-the-air broadcast stations across the country.

Weigel’s MeTV flagship channel has offered a Saturday morning cartoon block for several years. Bringing such great nostalgia and introducing a whole new generation of kids the fun of Saturday Morning Cartoons.

MeTV Toons is tentatively scheduled to launch on June 25, and will be available on Weigel-owned digital broadcast stations in New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Houston and St. Louis, among others. Weigel is also working to secure distribution of MeTV Toons on non-Weigel stations in other markets. The company did not say which FAST platforms will carry a streaming version of the channel. But this is exciting new to say the least!
